I was born -96, so the part of me being a kid that i remember was more like early 2000s. But when i was a kid 6-8 or around there, where i lived it was very much "The 90s" at that time. So i still recognise "90s kid" stuff, if you wanna call me a "90s kid" or not is up to you.

I'd have to disagree. I'd say that people born in 88 and 89 are more 90s kids than those born in 98 and 99. We were KIDS in the 90s, not babies, and we were babies in the 80s.
